Timeline: 2013-2015
I was always fascinated, and have considered teaching as one of the most noble professions. At Saint Mary's University (SMU), I had the opportunity to make that long-held dream come true!
As Lecturer at the Division of Engineering, I taught few engineering courses, including Electric Circuits, and Probability and Statistics for Engineers, to the first year and second year undergraduate classes. The most enjoyable part was to interact and develop creative assignments for students, as my goal was to generate curiosity in their mind, and ignite the innovation in problem solving both in theories and practical lab experiments.
Timeline: 2012-2015
The Laboratory of Control Systems and Mechatronics (LCSM) is a research facility of the Division of Engineering at Saint Mary's University, centered in mechatronics engineering and technology, offering a broad range of research opportunities in automation, control and energy systems.
I was involved in various projects during my engagements in the lab. In 2012, I started working in the lab as a Research Assistant. Later in 2015, I was appointed as the Project Manager and was responsible to manage several research projects in collaboration with industry partners. Most projects were usually funded through the NRC-IRAP program of NSERC research grants.
